The ginger is developed in the Central jungle of Peru, the tropical zone of the country. The cycle for this product starts between September and October. Having the first harvests by July of the following year.
The Wild ginger can reach 6 inches in height and 6 to 12 inches in width.
- Wild ginger has large, dark green, heart-shaped or kidney-shaped leaves. The stems of the leaves are covered with white hairs.
- Wild ginger has a strong and wide rhizome that splits easily and facilitates the vegetative reproduction of a plant.
